New playground improvements are in place at the Plato School District after it was awarded a Missouri Department of Natural Resources grant.
New material has been added by Taylor Made Co., which specializes in providing soft surfaces that are weather resistant, safer and provide virtually maintainance-free environments.
The school said its main campus received 27,000 pounds of the Missouri scrap tires.
